I have included the same icon in several variations. Also an animated cursor that could , for instance replace the "busy" hourglass. I just lifted this graphic off the web, and resized/enhanced/reformatted it. I made these using Microangelo 5.5, but you can make your own using simple tools.

Here's how to create icons:

*On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Paint.
On the Image menu, click Attributes.
Enter 32 pixels in Height and Width.
Create an icon using the paintbrush or pencil tools.
Name and save your icon.

*Any image can be used, but it must be converted to aprox 32x32 pixels, and saved as a .bmp (Paint) or .ico format. The 'Irfanview' program will convert between almost any format, and re-size by pixel count. It is freeware: http://www.irfanview.com/

To replace an existing icon on your desktop with your new one:

Right-click the shortcut on your desktop and then click Properties.
Click Change Icon.
Click Browse.
Locate the folder containing the icon you created.
The icon you created will now replace the original on the desktop.

I've included a small freeware utility that will simplify this. Open the Change Icon folder, and follow instructions.

For the animated cursor, go to Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Pointers to change pointer options.
